Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Main Component Exchanges to lead planning and execution of large-component exchange projects for offshore wind farms in Northern and Central Europe. You will collaborate with engineering, marine operations and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-efficient delivery, while strengthening safety culture.

The role involves end-to-end project delivery with focus on safety, quality, schedule and cost, plus travel for offshore

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, commerce, or project management
• Proven experience planning and executing complex offshore wind projects in Northern/Central Europe
• Understanding of project documentation management (version control, folders, access rights)
• Knowledge of vessel mobilisation, POB planning, and offshore logistics
• Familiarity with UK regulatory safety frameworks (CDM 2015) is a bonus
• Proficiency with MS Office; MS Project and SharePoint preferred
• Strong planning and coordination skills; assertive problem-solving across stakeholders
• Fluency in English; German is advantageous for local setup
• Strong HSEQ mindset and safe offshore delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead MCE projects from handover through planning, execution and close-out
• Build and maintain integrated project plans (scope, milestones, resources)
• Coordinate interfaces across internal teams, customers and subcontractors
• Present projects to steering committees with structure and transparency
• Manage project risk, changes and decisions for predictable delivery
• Ensure robust documentation, reporting, cost tracking and lessons learned
• Support health, safety and environmental standards in all activities
• Collaborate across a matrix organisation to align deliverables
