Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Main Component Exchanges to lead end-to-end offshore wind delivery in Northern and Central Europe. You will coordinate engineering, marine operations, HSEQ, SCM, site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant execution and predictable project performance.

You will drive plans, interfaces, and governance while maintaining a strong safety culture and efficient stakeholder communication throughout long-term service contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, commerce, or project management.
• Proven experience planning and executing complex offshore wind projects in Northern and Central Europe with multiple interfaces and subcontractors.
• Understanding of quality systems and structured project documentation.
• Understanding of vessel mobilisation, POB planning, and offshore logistics.
• Knowledge of UK CDM 2015 and Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) is a bonus.
• Strong planning and coordination skills; tool proficiency (MS Project and SharePoint).
• Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead MCE projects from handover through execution and close-out.
• Build integrated project plans (scope, milestones, resources, logistics, weather windows).
• Coordinate interfaces across internal teams, customers and subcontractors and ensure governance and communication.
• Present projects to the steering committee with structure, coherence, and transparency.
• Manage project risk, change and decision-making to secure predictable delivery.
• Ensure robust project documentation, reporting, cost tracking and lessons learned.
• Support health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities.
• Work effectively across a matrix organisation to align deliverables.
