Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an O&M Technical Support Engineer - Offshore Wind to apply wind turbine expertise to offshore operations. You will provide second-line technical support for offshore sites, with a focus on Vestas platforms (V80, V90, V112) and a data-driven approach to complex faults.

Based in Denmark with travel to offshore sites occasionally, you will collaborate with site operations, engineering and OEMs to improve reliability and maintainability across our offshore wind fleet.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in technical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting or engineering within wind energy or a similar complex technical environment.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine systems including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic subsystems.
• Experience working with technical documentation and operational tools such as SCADA or CMMS.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and resolve technical requests from offshore wind sites using ticketing systems, data and input from specialists.
• Analyse recurring alarms and trends to identify platform issues and support improvements in reliability and maintainability.
• Support remote troubleshooting using SCADA, alarms and maintenance history to guide site teams.
• Create and maintain standardised technical solutions, alarm guides and troubleshooting instructions.
• Collaborate with site operations, engineering, asset management and OEMs to ensure timely inputs for decisions.
• Provide technical input to future projects and contract discussions when relevant.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Technical Support processes and documentation.
