Job summary
Semco Maritime is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in the Renewable division to join the Global Modification team. You will design, communicate and implement operational plans for engineering activities and contribute technical input to larger projects from inquiry through commissioning.
Work from Semco Maritime Global HQ in Esbjerg or Hamburg, with up to 30 travel days/year. Join a team focused on teamwork, flexibility, and professional growth, shaping projects and services.
Qualifications
- Educational background as a Marine Engineer, Service Engineer, Technical Manager Offshore or Electrical/electronic engineer.
- Broad knowledge of electrical systems related to offshore substations and offshore turbines.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal.
- German language is an advantage but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical solutions and engineering documentation for modification projects.
- Plan and coordinate engineering activities; monitor progress and performance.
- Resolve technical issues to secure quality and timelines.
- Provide back-office engineering support during offshore execution, construction, installation and commissioning.
- Contribute to warranty claims on OSS projects delivery.
- Participate in technical communication with clients regarding project solutions.
