Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover a broad Nordic territory with a strong hunter mentality. You will drive capital sales of heat exchangers and evaporation systems across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, building a robust pipeline and closing deals.

Join a Nordic Sales team of five, travel ~60 days/year, and report to the Market Area Manager. You will partner with engineering and application specialists to deliver customer value and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record in B2B sales in industrial equipment or related tech industries.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a Nordic language.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities in industrial and process industries by building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM data through a structured sales approach.
• Develop and execute market growth plans for assigned product portfolios.
• Lead the commercial sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and order closure.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Represent Alfa Laval at customer meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and industry events.
