Job summary

GE HealthCare in Denmark is seeking a Field Services Engineer Trainee to support installation, maintenance and repair of advanced medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities. Working with experienced engineers, you will develop troubleshooting skills, perform preventive maintenance, document service activities, and travel regionally as needed.

Qualifications

Technical education or apprenticeship in electronics, automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
Strong interest in technology, troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving.
Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment following procedures and guidelines.
Support corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair at customer sites.
Assist with field modifications and product updates.
Participate in installation, upgrade and system enhancement projects as required.
Apply structured troubleshooting methods to diagnose and resolve problems.
Plan and execute customer visits with professionalism and satisfaction in mind.
Document service activities accurately in company systems.
Manage spare parts, tools and service inventory.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues, support teams and stakeholders to resolve issues.
