Job summary

LJM Lind Jensen, Career | a JKS company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Design department at the headquarters in Højmark. You will translate customer needs into manufacturable solutions and participate in testing and production readiness.

You will develop concepts, build prototypes and contribute to DFMEA, APQP milestones, and cross-functional collaboration with software engineers and production teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with strong design background.
• Experience with 3D CAD, FEA, prototyping, testing and APQP.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine concepts and operating principles.
• Create 3D models, assemblies and production drawings.
• Optimize designs for strength, service life, and manufacturability.
• Specify test functions and control sequences with software engineers.
• Prepare BOMs, tolerances and design specifications.
• Specify and perform FEA on components.
• Build prototypes and plan, conduct, analyze tests.
• Coordinate DFMEA, APQP milestones and cross-functional work.
