Job summary

JBT Marel in Aarhus is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design and configure customer-specific mechanical solutions for production lines worldwide.

You will review 2D drawings, peer-review 3D work, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure designs move from concept to installation with Marel’s global teams.

Applicants should have a technical mechanical background, experience with 3D CAD, PLM is a plus, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanical engineering or production technology.
• Experience with 3D CAD design, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience with PLM is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, international environment.
• Experience with mechanical design, machine solutions, or industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure customer-specific mechanical solutions for production lines.
• Review outsourced 2D drawings to ensure quality and standards.
• Peer-review colleagues' 3D work to ensure solution integrity.
• Define and agree on technical solutions with specialists across disciplines.
• Coordinate project tasks with the Technical Planner and Department Manager.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Collaborate with Marel’s global development teams across Denmark, Iceland, the Netherlands, and the USA.
• Follow designs through assembly and installation at customer sites worldwide.
