Job summary

LJM Lind Jensen is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Design department at the headquarters in Højmark. You will contribute to product development from concept to testing and production, shaping advanced mechanical solutions for demanding OEM projects.

You will work with 3D CAD, FEA and prototyping, coordinate DFMEA and APQP processes, and collaborate with software and production teams to deliver robust designs with clear documentation and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in mechanical engineering with strong design experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD, FEA, prototyping, testing and qualification.
• Ability to coordinate DFMEA/APQP and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Developing and evaluating machine concepts and operating principles.
• Creating 3D models, assemblies and production drawings.
• Optimizing designs for strength, service life, assembly and manufacturing.
• Specifying test and machine functions, control principles and sequences in collaboration with software engineers.
• Preparing bills of materials, tolerances, requirements- and design specifications.
• Specifying and performing FEA on component level.
• Building prototypes and planning, conducting, analyzing and documenting tests.
• Coordinating development activities, DFMEA, milestones and cross-functional APQP collaboration.
