Coloplast in Humlebæk, Denmark, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to turn concepts into robust, manufacturable medical devices through production. You will collaborate with engineers, scientists and project managers to translate requirements into practical mechanical solutions that perform reliably in daily use.

You will plan and execute design activities across concept development, detailed design, verification and transfer to production, owning your deliverables and driving informed decisions

Qualificações

• Hold a BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience developing mechanical solutions including plastic components for injection moulding.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience with robust design, tolerance calculations and design for manufacture.
• Ability to apply engineering theory, calculations and data analysis to design challenges.
• Communicate technical ideas and conclusions clearly, both visually and verbally.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver mechanical design activities in Product Development projects.
• Span concept development and evaluation, detailed design, verification and transfer to production.
• Take ownership of mechanical deliverables and provide clear conclusions.
• Identify risks early, make design trade-offs, involve relevant experts.
• Communicate risks, dependencies and impact of changes early.
• Share technical learning and help improve mechanical design practices across projects.
