The position focuses on developing new tools and conducting tests across development phases, with travel as required to support testing and project needs at Welltec locations and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer with a B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent background.
• Experience in energy sector, hydraulics, precision mechanics, electromechanical systems, mechatronics or oilfield or similar.
• Strong practical testing, verification and systematic troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel for project activities and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop new tools to solve cutting-edge problems.
• Work on technical projects through all development phases.
• Collaborate in teams with clear individual and shared responsibilities.
• Perform conceptual studies and feasibility analyses.
• Design reviews guided by DFM, FMEA, and robust design thinking.
• Plan and conduct practical functional testing of prototypes and systems.
• Troubleshoot and analyze root causes during testing and development.
• Provide input across the organization in your area of expertise.
