Job summary

Welltec is seeking a senior leader to head the D&E Mechanical development function, directing a team of engineers and shaping cross‑functional strategy.

You will be responsible for people management, high‑level stakeholder engagement, and delivering development projects across mechanical, electronic, and software domains. You will report to the EVP of D&E and Manufacturing and lead with collaborative, global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, naval, electronics).
• 5+ years of experience leading or driving projects with responsibility for process, content and stakeholders.
• Experience leading a team with a focus on improvements and people development.
• Strong presence and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6–8 mechanical engineers and oversee daily management across mechanical, electronic, software, and manufacturing domains.
• Own and manage technical projects through all development phases from concept to delivery.
• Provide guidance in expert areas and drive process improvements with the leadership team.
• Collaborate across Welltec with global functions and international offices.
