Job summary

FLOWVISION A/S, Odense, Denmark, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its highly specialized engineering team working on international EPC projects. You will collaborate with the Lead Mechanical Engineer, workshops, suppliers, and external partners to ensure high-quality mechanical designs, fabrication documentation, and timely delivery.

The role covers design reviews, fabrication support, welding, installation, and final documentation, with opportunities to influence processes and grow

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Experience from project-based engineering environments, fabrication, workshops, or EPC project execution.
• Practical exposure to welding, piping, valves, structural steel, or process equipment.
• Strong ability to read, review, and assess mechanical and fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with ASME and EN1090 standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Plant3D.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical reviews of RFQ packages and specifications during bidding and project execution phases.
• Define mechanical design requirements and coordinate inputs towards external engineering and drafting partners.
• Work with mechanical drawings and documentation including general arrangements, piping layouts and isometrics.
• Support engineering milestone reviews and design freeze activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, deviations, and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assess manufacturability and propose improvements related to fabrication, welding, installation.
