Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Project Engineer, Mechanical Design in Denmark to design and develop mechanical adaptations for customer projects, creating detailed drawings and BOMs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage changes to meet cost, lead time and quality goals.

The role requires strong CAD skills and experience in drawings, specifications, and ERP systems, with bilingual Danish/English communication and work authorization in Denmark.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design, product engineering, project engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to create and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and bills of materials.
• Knowledge of CAD design tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or comparable software.
• Understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, tolerances, manufacturing methods, and change management processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical adaptations for customer projects and quotations.
• Review technical specs from customers and suppliers and provide clarification.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, bills of materials, and documentation.
