Emerson is seeking a Project Engineer, Customer Projects in Naestved, Denmark to lead customer projects from handover to delivery. You will act as the primary technical contact, coordinate across functions, and ensure equipment meets quality, schedule and business requirements.

You will plan milestones, develop mechanical adaptation designs, and maintain documentation in ERP systems while collaborating with Sales, Operations, Sourcing and Engineering teams to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering, mechanical design, project engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, drawings, tolerances, manufacturing methods and change management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain quality, deadlines and customer expectations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor or PTC Creo.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent platforms.
• Professional proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support customers and projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead the execution of customer projects from order handover through final delivery.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project milestones and interfaces across cross-functional teams.
• Develop mechanical adaptation designs for customer applications.
• Create and maintain engineering docs, BOMs, and product data in ERP.
• Evaluate and manage project changes with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet quality, cost, manufacturability, and operational requirements.
• Support FAT, installation, commissioning as required.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Sourcing, and Engineering teams.
• Promote standardization, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
