Job summary

Jotun Danmark A/S is seeking a Marine & Protective Coating Advisor to provide on-site support, inspections and technical advice across Denmark and sometimes abroad. You will engage with shipowners, contractors and project owners, becoming part of our global Technical Service network.

You are a primary technical contact through projects, ensuring coating quality, compliance, and documentation while collaborating with sales teams and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience within paints and coatings, corrosion protection, marine, offshore, infrastructure or heavy industry
• FROSIO III certification or NACE certification
• Experience with coating inspections and quality control
• A technical education or relevant engineering/scientific background
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English
• Good IT skills and experience with technical reporting
• A valid driving license
• Willingness to travel throughout Denmark and occasionally internationally

Responsibilities

• Conducting coating inspections on marine and protective coating projects
• Advising customers, contractors and applicators on surface preparation and paint application
• Monitoring projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements
• Preparing technical inspection reports and project documentation
• Troubleshooting coating-related challenges and recommending practical solutions
• Supporting sales colleagues with technical expertise before, during and after project execution
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in line with Jotun's HSE standards and procedures
