Challenges You Will Work On

SAS is now looking for Manager Crew Base Support CPH. The Crew Base Support CPH function plays a key role in supporting SAS Scandinavia, Link and Connect Flight Crew (Cabin and Flight Deck) as well as Crew Management at the Copenhagen base, through a combination of front-office and back-office services.

As Manager Crew Base Support CPH, you will lead, develop, and continuously improve the team, ensuring high-quality support, operational excellence, and service delivery in line with defined KPIs.

Working closely with colleagues across SAS Scandinavia, Connect and Link and other connected departments you will contribute to creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of Crew and Crew Base Support, and demonstrates flexibility. As Manager for Crew Base Support CPH, you will report to the Head of Crew Support & IR/CBA Support.

Your Responsibilities Include

The Manager Crew Base Support CPH is, through your personnel, mainly responsible for delivering services to SAS Scandinavia, Link and Connect Flight Crew and their Crew Management at the Crew Base in CPH.

The Department's Main Responsibilities Are Among Others

• Invoice handling
• Variable salary and per diem administration
• Crew onboarding and offboarding.
• Crew hotel and transport handling
• Crew documents, ID cards, annual checks, etc.

As Manager Crew Base Support, You Will

• Lead and develop the Crew Base Support function
• Secure the competence development and capability growth of the Crew Base Support CPH personnel
• In close cooperation with the Managers Crew Base Support ARN/OSL, coordinate and develop the support for all three bases CPH/ARN/OSL

The Team

The Crew Base Support CPH team supports Flight Crew and Crew Management across a range of operational and administrative processes. The team is responsible for crew onboarding and offboarding, variable salary and per diem administration, hotel and transport coordination, invoice handling, and crew documentation.

To be successful we believe you have

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Leadership experience (preferably from an administrative, functional or project-oriented role)
• Excellent communication skills in the English, both written and spoken as well as a strong understanding of the Scandinavian languages.
• An innovative and solution-oriented mindset
• High integrity and the ability to build trust-based relationships across teams and stakeholder groups.
• A positive approach, combined with a strong service mindset and customer-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills, as well as a good understanding of the SAS organization
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively adapting your approach to different situations and stakeholders.
• Good knowledge and understanding of crew’s needs in their daily work and their planning tools.
