SAS - Scandinavian Airlines System is seeking an experienced A320 Captain to join our Copenhagen and Stockholm bases. This Direct Entry Captain role offers the choice of a 100% full-time contract or an 83.3% part-time agreement with a seasonal rostering pattern.

You will command a modern fleet, enjoy a competitive starting salary, a fully funded type-rating with a three-year bond, and access to a comprehensive benefits program including travel and pension provisions.

Formación

• Unrestricted EASA ATPL (A) required.
• EASA ATPL(A), CPL(A), or MPL accepted with conversion before course start.
• Valid Class 1 Medical and Instrument Rating are required.
• ICAO English Level 5 or 6 is required.
• Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and no criminal record.

Responsabilidades

• Lead as A320 Captain on Copenhagen and Stockholm routes.
• Meet minimum flight time requirements and maintain licenses throughout employment.
• Participate in the security screening and recruitment process as described by SAS.

What We Offer

We offer a Direct Entry Captain position on the A320 fleet in Copenhagen and Stockholm, with the option to choose between a 100% full-time contract or a flexible 83.3% part-time agreement.

The 83.3% option operates on a seasonal flying pattern, with 100% rostering during the summer and December, and 50-75% during the rest of the year.

  100% contract: DKK 75.493 / SEK 74.772 per month
  83.3% contract: DKK 62.861 / SEK 62.285 per month

Minimum Requirements

• Unrestricted EASA ATPL (A)
• EASA ATPL(A), CPL(A), or MPL ( Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses accepted, but must be converted before course start)
• Valid Class 1 Medical
• Valid Instrument Rating
• ICAO English Level 5 or 6
• Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
• Clean criminal record

Minimum Flight Time Requirements

4,000+ hours Total Time
2,000+ hours on jet aircraft or high-speed turboprops
1,000+ hours PIC on aircraft with MTOW above 55.0T
Experience with winter operations

All requirements must be fully met, and all licenses valid at the time of application.

Security & Screening

Background check
Personal security interview
Drug and alcohol testing
The personal security interview and testing must be completed in the base city (Copenhagen).

Recruitment Process

• Online Tests (cognitive and personality assessments)
• Assessment Days — group exercises, simulator session, personal interview
• Final Checks — background screening, security interview, and drug/alcohol testing

Each step of the process might be disqualifying.
