Job summary

IFF in Brabrand, Denmark, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support human health R&D through hands-on lab work. You will maintain mammalian cell cultures, process clinical samples, and perform molecular biology analyses in an international team.

You will contribute to establishing workflows, document experiments, and ensure quality and biosafety standards while supporting method development and routine lab operations on an onsite basis.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and handling clinical samples.
• Experience with nucleic acid extraction, PCR, RT‑qPCR or qPCR is required.
• Experience with ELISA and multiplex immunoassays is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mammalian cell cultures and prepare cell stocks.
• Receive, register, aliquot, process, and store clinical trial samples with traceability.
• Perform nucleic acid extraction, PCR, RT‑qPCR, and qPCR analyses.
• Conduct ELISA and multiplex immunoassays.
• Prepare reagents, controls, and assay plates per procedures.
• Document work, perform quality checks, and organize data for review.
