Job summary

IFF is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the Advanced Analysis team in Brabrand, Denmark. You will perform chemical analyses of food products using GC, ICP, and LC techniques, handle samples, and report results in a collaborative global R&D setting.

You will contribute to method development, validation, and continuous improvement while maintaining instrument upkeep and safe lab practices in an onsite, international team.

Qualifications

• Laboratory Technician degree or equivalent technical laboratory education.
• Experience in analytical chemistry across multiple techniques is preferred.
• Hands-on use of analytical instrumentation in a lab setting is required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently with a structured approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, handle, and process samples for chemical analysis of food products and ingredients.
• Set up, run, and monitor analytical sequences using chromatography and spectroscopy equipment.
• Perform GC-based analyses (GC‑FID, GC‑MS, GC‑TOF‑MS) and support ICP.
• Assist liquid chromatography methods including IC, CE, and GPC.
• Manage data, calculations, and reporting with quality control in mind.
• Contribute to method implementation, optimisation, validation, and continuous improvement.
