Job summary

Hitachi Rail Limited is seeking a Maintenance Management System Work Package Leader (m/f/d) to drive MMS-related maintenance and technical operations, including monitoring, incident management, testing, and handover activities. You’ll lead subsystem design and ensure interfaces are closed, with robust evidence for handover to continuing services.

The role requires managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with engineering and interfaces managers, and ensuring traceability of design outputs,

Qualifications

• Lead work package within MMS and asset management domain.
• Experience managing suppliers, interfaces, and acceptance stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of requirements, configuration, installation and T&C dependencies.
• Ability to handle pressure from delays and defects.
• 7+ years in WPL/lead roles; 5+ years in supporting engineers.
• Deep domain expertise in the named subsystem and multi-supplier interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own MMS scope, schedule, budget inputs, risks, issues, dependencies.
• Ensure complete architecture, interface documents, design outputs, and handover records.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, integration testing, and evidence.
• Report progress to Engineering and Project Governance.
• Lead subsystem design and handover evidence.
• Authority to approve day-to-day subsystem decisions within delegated scope.
