Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Maintenance Engineer at our Lem, Denmark facility to improve uptime, OEE and equipment performance through hands-on problem solving, data-driven maintenance and continuous improvement. You will analyze downtime, MTTR/MTBF, drive technical improvements with cross-functional teams, and contribute to AI-supported maintenance and proactive reliability initiatives close to production.

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanical, electrical, automation, or related field.
• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Interest in Reliability Engineering, TPM or AI-led maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze downtime patterns and translate insights into concrete actions.
• Reduce downtime through data-driven decisions and root-cause analysis.
• Drive improvements with Production, Process, Quality and global specialists.
• Contribute to AI-supported, proactive maintenance approaches.
• Ensure EAM master data, spare parts structures and technical documentation are accurate.
• Collaborate on equipment changes and new investments for maintainability.
