Job summary

Expeditors International in Denmark is seeking a Local Account Manager to join our commercial team in the Danish office in Kastrup. You will manage existing accounts, deepen relationships, and coordinate transition of new business from sales into operations.

You will work with a high-performing team to drive growth, deliver excellent service, and identify opportunities within Denmark. Fluent English is required; Danish language skills are a plus, and a valid driving license is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding with a proven track record in business development and account management.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead customer meetings and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects on track.
• Fluent in English; Danish is an advantage.
• Valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and develop growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Lead Transition & Implementation (T&I) activities for new business.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
• Manage customer information, business reviews, and account administration.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to maximize customer value and business growth
