Job summary

1001 LEGO System A/S in Billund is seeking a Manager to oversee licensing partnerships across Retail and Portfolio Development. You will collaborate with partners to drive strategies, achieve KPIs, and manage product concepts.

Location

Billund, Denmark. No relocation assistance is offered for this role.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee selected licensing partner relationships across three main areas: Retail Development, Portfolio Development, and Daily Business & Partner Management.
• Collaborate on retail strategy with Go-to-Market and licensing partners and support pitching efforts to retail accounts.
• Develop new product concepts with the Publishing Team, secure partner publishing plans, assist in brick elements briefing, build business cases, prepare gate presentations, and deliver final portfolio in Blueprint format.
• Engage licensing partners and internal partners to drive strategy, achieve KPIs, secure and update partner financial forecasts, review NPS scores, and facilitate partner onboarding and compliance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional communication and execution, conduct business development and gap analysis with the Publishing Team, manage rights and custom sales development, and approve marketing assets with Editorial and Global Marketing.
• Handle trade show presence, schedule, and manage travel requirements (up to 10%).
• Develop presentations as needed and archive & distribute samples.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Manager (Account, Retail Development) in a large, highly matrixed organization, ideally in the publishing industry.
• Proven partner and customer management skills with strong organizational, communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to drive important metric results, set priorities against deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in English; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and participate in overseas calls outside working hours.
• Dedication to the hybrid work policy: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
