Job summary

TDC NET is seeking a Virtualization Tech Lead to drive the migration from proprietary hypervisors to open, automated virtualization platforms. You will lead the evolution of virtual infrastructure, design robust VM platforms and shape how VMs and containers coexist in a hybrid, cloud-native environment.

You will own platform strategy, orchestrate mass migrations, and champion GitOps, IaC and automation-first operating models across the virtualization domain.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise virtualization experience with modern platforms.
• Hands-on with automation, IaC and platform standardization.
• Proactive communication and leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own virtualization platform strategy and target architecture.
• Plan migrations from VMware to open virtualization stacks at scale.
• Design high-availability, clustering, live migration, and DR for VMs.
• Deliver IaC for VM lifecycle operations (Terraform, Ansible).
• Integrate VM workloads with monitoring, CI/CD, and GitOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with compute, storage, network, and SRE teams.
• Guide platform choices for workloads and promote automation.
