Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking a Lead Sustainability Data Scientist to shape the future of sustainability data analytics, AI, and forecasting. You will lead development of forecasting models and data products across global stakeholders, delivering end-to-end analytics from data collection to product delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in sustainability/data science, strong BI and AI skills, and ability to collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

Proven track record (+5 years) preparing and designing data for analytical purposes in sustainability or data science.
Degree in Management, Engineering, Data Science or Sustainability with strong data acumen.
Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau or similar.
Experience at the forefront of understanding and applying AI.
Experience in analytics/engineering with self-service tools like Alteryx; proficient in Python or similar; familiarity with Databricks/Snowflake/Haystack is a plus.
Experience in sustainability analytics, reporting or modelling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end sustainability forecasting solutions combining commercial, capacity, supply chain and procurement data.
Collect data from multiple source systems and identify opportunities for digitalisation/automation/AI.
Deliver full analytics workflow from requirements to data availability to end product.
Guide application of advanced analytics such as machine learning and AI models in sustainability.
