Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Project Lead Engineer (PME) in Ballerup, Denmark, to lead engineering for complete substations in distribution and transmission grids. You will steer the engineering work in customer projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• A minimum of 3–5 years in engineering, R&D or project management.
• Experience with Medium to High Voltage Projects in Power Systems.
• Site works experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Danish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the project engineering team to deliver results per contract, quality standards, HSE, financial targets and schedule.
• Coordinate engineering with customers, sub-suppliers and partners.
• Plan and manage engineering resources per Hitachi Energy governance.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify risks and opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement.
