Job summary

Hitachi Energy Denmark A/S is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer for our Grid Integration team in Copenhagen/Ballerup. You will lead on-site commissioning of HV/MV substations, configure protection relays, and coordinate external resources across Nordic projects in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden.

You're expected to have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, hands-on testing experience at substations, and fluent English with at least basic Danish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience testing at substations (MV/HV).
• Fluent in English; basic Danish required.

Responsibilities

• Test and commission HV & MV substations, including protection and control systems.
• Plan pre-commissioning and commissioning activities; document FATs, ITPs/ITRs, method statements.
• Organize FAT of C&P equipment in the test lab.
• Coordinate on-site commissioning with internal and external resources.
• Support tendering with commissioning plans and time/cost estimates.
• Lead commissioning on projects when appointed.
