Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to expand our client relationships and lead multidisciplinary engineering assignments across Northern Europe. You will identify opportunities, win work, and guide projects from concept through execution with a strong commercial mindset.

You will collaborate with our international Mechanical & Plant Design teams, delivering projects from industrial facilities to energy infrastructure, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to Ramboll's

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in industrial plants, energy infrastructure, gas systems, or related industries.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven client engagement track record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow client relationships and identify opportunities.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering assignments from concept through execution.
• Win work and mentor junior engineers while coordinating delivery across Europe.
• Support proposal development and tender preparation, contributing to project portfolios.
