Job summary

Vestas Technology & Operations invites a specialist to lead data acquisition within Performance Testing at our Aarhus headquarters. You will shape strategy, drive core technologies, and align with engineering, testing and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality measurement solutions.

You will guide the DAQ platform development, ensure software quality, and manage vendor relationships while supporting long-term objectives in wind energy testing. This role is based in Aarhus.

Qualifications

  • Experience with data acquisition systems and measurement setups.
  • Knowledge of sensor technologies and data quality assurance.
  • Background in architecture and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the data acquisition strategy across all performance-testing disciplines, ensuring alignment with VTO's long-term technical and business objectives
  • Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for data acquisition, including identifying future capability needs, prioritizing initiatives, and securing required investments
  • Oversee development work and support on-time, high-quality execution in line with strategic goals and project needs
  • Oversee ongoing improvement initiatives to refine tools, processes, and guidelines, boosting standardization, reliability, and overall efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance on data acquisition technologies and methods across VTO while promoting cross-functional alignment
  • Serve as the technical lead for our DAQ software platform, ensuring architectural integrity, software quality, and a good match to measurement and test requirements
