GEA Group in Skanderborg, Denmark, seeks an experienced Automation Project Manager to lead automation projects from concept through commissioning and handover, typically lasting 12 to 18 months. You will work with project execution, automation engineers, process and mechanical engineers, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions for food and dairy industries.

Competenze

Degree in automation engineering, control engineering, computer engineering, or related technical discipline.
Experience in automation engineering and project delivery within food and dairy industries.
Knowledge of control technologies, industrial communication, and automation documentation.
Experience in supplier management, project planning, budget and schedule monitoring, FAT/SAT, commissioning and handover.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

Lead automation and control system projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.
Plan deliverables, automation activities, milestones and resources in line with the project plan.
Coordinate PLC and software development, HMI/SCADA, process control and instrumentation integration.
Manage external suppliers and subcontractors from scope definition to delivery and compliance.
Plan and coordinate FAT and SAT, support commissioning and start-up.
Ensure comprehensive automation documentation and structured handover to customer and Service.
