Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group is seeking a Product Development Technician, NGP, to join the Next Generation Products team in Svendborg. You’ll support development, testing and commercialization of nicotine pouch products across the lifecycle.

A Laboratory Technician qualification or equivalent education, plus a Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years’ experience, are preferred. The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, data documentation, and collaboration with QA, manufacturing and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Laboratory Technician qualification or equivalent education in a technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience in product development, laboratory operations, quality, or manufacturing support.
• Strong laboratory and experimental execution skills with data collection and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory batches, prototypes, and samples per plans and specs.
• Conduct testing, evaluations, and analytical assessments with proper documentation.
• Support pilot-scale and manufacturing trials for scale-up and commercialization.
• Maintain technical docs, specs, test reports, and development records per quality and regulatory standards.
• Manage lab equipment, materials, and inventory ensuring safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timelines, tech transfer, and continuous improvement.
