Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group is seeking a Senior QA Specialist to lead independent quality oversight across Denmark's manufacturing sites in Assens, Holstebro and Svendborg. You will drive risk-based, data-driven improvements and partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and QEHS to strengthen the QA system on the shop floor.

Reporting to the QEHS Manager Mass Market, the role blends hands-on site support with quality engineering, problem solving and continuous improvement to ensure compliance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Quality, Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Process Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering or manufacturing quality with QMS, specs, control plans, deviations and CAPA.
• Strong problem-solving using RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa and PDCA; analyze data to drive actions.
• Coaching teams to own quality across multiple sites with independent decision-making.
• Fluency in Danish and professional English proficiency.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments and knowledge of FMEA, SPC and advanced Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance System at our sites, including QC plans based on product and process risk and CTQ characteristics.
• Provide independent quality insight to ensure materials and processes meet specifications and quality requirements, including Food Safety regulations.
• Enable Manufacturing teams to perform RCA, CAPA and PDCA, and coach quality capability on the shop floor.
• Monitor process capability, product conformity, KPIs and cost of poor quality, turning findings into improvements across materials, processes and finished products.
• Support new product introductions and process changes with QA requirements and risk controls; represent Quality in change-management forums.
• Perform QA system and process audits, support third-party audits, and maintain strong shop-floor presence to identify emerging quality risks.
