Job summary

Zifo is seeking a Lab Compute Analyst to deliver consulting, analytical and technical laboratory services across multivendor instruments and IT systems. The role involves evaluating customer needs, gathering requirements, and proposing solutions while working with business users and Zifo support teams.

The candidate will perform validation/compliance activities, support instrument systems, and coordinate with field service engineers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in computer science or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of technical experience including Windows, networking, remote computing and backups.
• Experience with virtual machine support and scientific instrumentation is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen and interpret requests.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks across teams.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices per site policies.

Responsibilities

• Understand problem statements and define scope.
• Gather requirements and assist with validation/compliance activities.
• Analyse current state processes and plan improvements.
• Provide guidance and escalation support to Lab Support Technicians.
• Coordinate with internal/external service groups and vendors.
• Develop weekly plans and participate in status reviews.
