Zusammenfassung

COWI is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to support major infrastructure projects including bridges, immersed tunnels and underground structures. You will join a global team delivering innovative solutions and contribute from concept through construction support.

You will work with experienced specialists, develop technical skills, and engage in digital engineering initiatives, BIM coordination and cross-discipline collaboration. The role is based in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.

Qualifikationen

• Master degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• 0-5 years of professional experience in structural or civil engineering.
• Knowledge with finite element modelling (FEM) and structural analysis.
• Knowledge of concrete design principles and Eurocode 2.
• Interest or experience in automated workflows and parametric design tools, such as Grasshopper.
• Interest or experience in AI, programming or engineering automation is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to organise own work while contributing actively to a team.

Aufgaben

• Performing structural analysis and design of civil engineering structures
• Working with FEM and structural analysis tools
• Preparing calculations, technical documentation and design deliverables
• Collaborating with structural, geotechnical, BIM and other engineering disciplines
• Contributing to digital engineering initiatives, including automated workflows and parametric design solutions
• Participating in technical discussions, reviews and knowledge-sharing activities within the team and structural engineering community
