Job summary

Ramboll Energy in Esbjerg, Denmark is seeking a Junior Power Systems Engineer to design future green energy systems. You will contribute to HV/MV/LV electrical designs, grid connections and electrical engineering for datacenters, BESS & solar PV, and industrial plants.

You will finalize studies from concept to FEED, perform electrical calculations and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust project deliverables in a growing energy market.

Qualifications

• Finalizing your B.Sc./B.Eng. Electrical Engineering or M.Sc. Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Curious and the ambition to develop your professional skills further.
• Strong oral and written skills in Danish and English.
• Motivated to work on the green transition and contribute to high-quality solutions for complex energy infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer HV, MV and LV electrical systems in line with standards and project interfaces.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and design documentation for equipment like transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing and lightning protection.
• Support procurement with supplier dialogue, tenders, clarifications and follow-up during execution.
• Contribute to concept, feasibility and FEED studies with technical solutions and clear recommendations.
• Perform electrical calculations and studies such as load flow, short-circuit and protection coordination.
