Job summary

Ramboll Energy in Esbjerg, Denmark, seeks a Junior Power Systems Engineer to design and deliver electrical systems for diverse green energy projects including Datacenters, BESS & Solar PV, and Power-to-X facilities. Qualifications

• Finalising your B.Sc./B.Eng. Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Curious and the ambition to develop your professional skills further.
• Strong oral and written skills in Danish and English.
• Motivated to work on the green transition and contribute to high-quality energy infrastructure projects.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to engage openly with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Analytical and structured approach to engineering tasks, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and engineering of HV, MV and LV electrical systems.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and design documentation for electrical equipment.
• Provide input to project teams and support procurement processes.
• Contribute to concept and FEED studies with technical solutions and recommendations.
• Perform electrical calculations and studies (load flow, short-circuit, protection).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions.
• Support dialogue with clients, grid companies and authorities with technical input.
• Assist in factory and site acceptance testing to ensure compliance.
