Job summary

DIS/CREADIS is seeking a Software Engineer to join our engineering consultancy in Denmark. You will work on technically complex projects where software interacts with hardware, energy systems, and manufacturing platforms, delivering solutions in real industrial environments.

You will design and develop backend services with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and customers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot in complex environments.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised deployments.
• Ability to work across consultancy projects with hardware/software integrations.
• Comfort collaborating with customers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions with Java as a core technology.
• Develop backend systems, APIs, integrations, and scalable components.
• Contribute through the entire development lifecycle: design, build, test, and deploy.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions.
• Work with CI/CD, automated testing, and version control.
• Collaborate with teams when software interfaces with hardware or complex systems.
