Job summary

Jobs Europe AB is seeking a Java Developer to design and build internal platforms powering iGaming operations, including studio tools, content management, admin back-office services, reporting, and integrations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Backend development with Java and Spring Boot/Spring.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on Docker/Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-native patterns.
• SQL and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) with performance focus.
• Security in backend systems (authn/authz, data protection).
• CI/CD, automated testing, and release practices.
• Strong debugging and teamwork skills.
• Interest in iGaming internal platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable microservices for back-office domains.
• Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes.
• Use cloud platforms to run cloud-native services.
• Implement service-to-service communication patterns (REST/event-driven).
• Design data persistence with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Apply security best practices and audit trails.
• Write tests and participate in code reviews.
• Maintain observability and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end.
