Job summary

FOSS is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver hands-on and remote support for employees at two Danish sites. You will be part of a dedicated IT team, handling issues onsite and remotely and collaborating with departments to ensure smooth IT operations.

You will manage incidents, assist with hardware, software, and network problems, and administer Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and AD. The role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with IT incident management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and user account management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Register, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with SLAs.
• Configure and install computers, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Administer systems like Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
• Collaborate with higher-level support teams and external IT service providers.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance and ensure high security standards.
• Manage IT equipment inventory and coordinate hardware procurement processes.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide hands‑on and remote support for employees at our two sites in Denmark:

Your presence will rotate between the two locations approximately every 2-3 weeks, depending on team availability and business needs.

What you will be doing

As our new IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of support for FOSS' employees, handling technical issues both onsite and remotely. You'll be part of a dedicated IT team, working closely with colleagues from different departments to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key responsibilities:

What we are looking for

Must-have competences:

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with IT incident management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and user account management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Drivers license.

Preferred competences:

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Exposure to cybersecurity practices, especially ISO 27001.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
• Familiarity with Apple environment.
