Job summary

FOSS Analytics in Denmark is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the first line of IT support for employees at our sites in Hillerød and Frederikssund. You will handle onsite and remote issues to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work with Office 365, SharePoint, Windows Server, and Active Directory, collaborating with an international team and communicating in English and Danish. The role offers growth and a focus on security and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows, Office 365, AD and Windows Server.
• Experience with IT incident management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and user account management.
• Excellent communication in English and Danish, written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Register, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with SLAs.
• Configure and install computers, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Administer systems like Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
• Collaborate with higher-level support teams and external IT service providers.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance and ensure high security standards.
• Manage IT equipment inventory and coordinate hardware procurement processes.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide hands‑on and remote support for employees at our two sites in Denmark:

• FOSS Innovation Center (FIC) – Nils Foss Allé 1, 3400 Hillerød
• FOSS Production & Logistics (FPL) – Foss Park 1, 3600 Frederikssund

Your presence will rotate between the two locations approximately every 2–3 weeks, depending on team availability and business needs.

What you will be doing

As our new IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of support for FOSS’ employees, handling technical issues both onsite and remotely. You'll be part of a dedicated IT team, working closely with colleagues from different departments to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key responsibilities:

What we are looking for:

Must-have competences

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with IT incident management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and user account management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Drivers license.

Preferred competences

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Exposure to cybersecurity practices, especially ISO 27001.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
• Familiarity with Apple environment.
