Job summary

Foss Analytical A/S in Denmark is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver hands-on and remote support for employees at our two sites. You will be the first line of help for hardware, software, and network issues, working with Office 365, SharePoint, Windows Server, and AD.

The role rotates between FIC in Hillerød and FPL in Frederikssund every 2–3 weeks. You will join an international IT team, communicate in English and Danish, and have opportunities for growth, certifications, and deeper

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with IT incident management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and user account management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Register, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with SLAs.
• Configure and install computers, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Administer systems like Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Active Directory.

• Monitor IT infrastructure performance and ensure high security standards.
• Manage IT equipment inventory and coordinate hardware procurement processes.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide hands‑on and remote support for employees at our two sites in Denmark:

• FOSS Innovation Center (FIC) – Nils Foss Allé 1, 3400 Hillerød
• FOSS Production & Logistics (FPL) – Foss Park 1, 3600 Frederikssund

Your presence will rotate between the two locations approximately every 2–3 weeks, depending on team availability and business needs.

What you will be doing

As our new IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of support for FOSS’ employees, handling technical issues both onsite and remotely. You'll be part of a dedicated IT team, working closely with colleagues from different departments to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide support for hardware, software, and network issues via ticketing systems, phone, Teams, and email.
• Register, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with SLAs.
• Configure and install computers, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Administer systems like Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
• Collaborate with higher‑level support teams and external IT service providers.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance and ensure high security standards.
• Manage IT equipment inventory and coordinate hardware procurement processes.

What we are looking for:

Must‑have competences:

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with IT incident management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and user account management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Drivers license.

Preferred competences:

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Exposure to cybersecurity practices, especially ISO 27001.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
• Familiarity with Apple environment.
