Job summary

Eurowind Energy A/S in Hobro, Denmark, is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join our IT Operations team at our headquarters. You will keep our network infrastructure reliable, secure and performing as we grow.

Daily tasks include designing, managing and maintaining LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers and VPNs; monitoring performance; administering Windows Server and Linux; managing VMware/Hyper-V; handling incidents; collaborating on projects; and maintaining clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with network infrastructure management — routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux system administration
• Familiarity with hypervisor platforms — VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar is a strong plus
• A good grasp of IT security principles and network monitoring tools
• A structured approach to incident management and troubleshooting
• Relevant IT education or equivalent practical experience

We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to join our IT Operations team at Eurowind Energy's headquarters in Hobro, Denmark.

Your Role

As our new IT Operations Engineer, you will be at the heart of keeping Eurowind's IT infrastructure running smoothly. Your primary focus is managing and operating our network infrastructure — making sure it is reliable, secure, and performing well as we continue to grow.

Your day-to-day will include:

Required Competencies & Skills

Professionally, you bring:

• Solid experience with network infrastructure management — routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux system administration
• Familiarity with hypervisor platforms — VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar is a strong plus
• A good grasp of IT security principles and network monitoring tools
• A structured approach to incident management and troubleshooting
• Relevant IT education or equivalent practical experience
