Job summary

Eurowind Energy, headquartered in Hobro, Denmark, is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to maintain and secure the company’s IT infrastructure. You will manage LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs and administer Windows Server and Linux environments.

You will also handle hypervisor platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V), monitor performance, resolve incidents, and document configurations and changes as part of a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with network infrastructure management — routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux system administration
• Familiarity with hypervisor platforms — VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar is a strong plus
• A good grasp of IT security principles and network monitoring tools
• A structured approach to incident management and troubleshooting
• Relevant IT education or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Designing, managing, and maintaining network infrastructure — LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs
• Monitoring network performance and availability, and resolving issues when they arise
• Administering Windows Server and Linux environments
• Managing hypervisor platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar)
• Handling incident resolution and root‑cause analysis for infrastructure issues
• Collaborating with the team on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and improvements
• Maintaining clear documentation of configurations, processes, and changes
