Job summary

InCommodities is building a tech-driven IT infrastructure team in Aarhus to scale our Microsoft-based environment for a fast-growing renewables-focused business. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will own the health, security, and readiness of the IT stack, from 365/Azure to identity and endpoints, while partnering with cross‑functional colleagues.

You’ll implement automation and drive best practices across the platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on IT operations or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with Windows and macOS environments including device management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID and identity management.
• Proven ability to provision and manage virtual machines in cloud and/or on-prem environments (Azure, VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Experience with device management tools such as Intune, MDM solutions, Autopilot, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
• Familiarity with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar).
• Experience with IT security standards (NIS2/ISO 27001), containerization, or Kubernetes is a plus.
• You’re fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Run and improve our Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, including Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management.
• Operate our corporate network and remote access, VPN, Wi‑Fi, secure remote access, and vendor coordination; explore modern approaches such as ZTNA and SASE.
• Manage device lifecycle end‑to‑end: provisioning, configuring, securing, patching, and offboarding laptops and mobile devices for new and existing employees.
• Strengthen our day‑to‑day security posture, through identity and access management, baseline policies, and supporting security/compliance initiatives such as NIS2
• Automate recurring infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Terraform or similar tooling
• Ensure systems are monitored, documented, and reliable, keeping both uptime and transparency high (runbooks, inventory, and clear ownership)

What you’ll do

You’ll be part of a small, newly formed infrastructure and platform team, taking hands‑on responsibility for keeping our IT environment healthy, secure, and ready for growth. Day‑to‑day, you’ll:

• Run and improve our Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, including Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management
• Operate our corporate network and remote access, VPN, Wi‑Fi, secure remote access, and vendor coordination; explore modern approaches such as ZTNA and SASE

What you bring

• Experience with Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online), Azure AD/Entra ID, and identity/access management
• Proven ability to provision and manage virtual machines in cloud and/or on‑prem environments (e.g., Azure, VMware, Hyper‑V)
• Experience with device management tools such as Intune, MDM solutions, Autopilot, or similar technologies
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
• Familiarity with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar)
