In JYSK your official title will be Release Train Architect and you will shape the architecture within our retail domain and influence the broader direction across JYSK—all in an informal and collaborative environment.

As part of the leadership team for our Retail Excellence ART consisting of 7 product teams, you will play a key role as the main architect in shaping the architecture that supports JYSK stores and the retail capabilities that enable thousands of colleagues to serve customers every day. You will help guide the evolution of our store systems landscape, ensuring that solutions are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with both business objectives and architectural principles.
In this role, you will work closely with business leaders, product teams, engineers, and fellow architects to provide architectural direction, facilitate decision-making, and create alignment across the organization. You are not expected to be the technical expert in every solution. Instead, you are a leader, coach, and trusted sparring partner who enables others to make sound architectural decisions and translate business ambitions into valuable outcomes.
Reporting to our Senior Enterprise Architect you will join a team of three Enterprise Architects and five Release Train Architects.
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:
The current tech stack includes Enactor point of sales system, custom development using the Java and React development stacks, SAP S/4Hana ERP backend. In recent years we have modernised our landscape shifting towards a more headless and event driven architecture.
In your architect role you understand the importance of stability and performance in the daily work of a store employee. This will require you understand the importance of time to market in the business of retail. Furthermore, you can navigate and cater your dialogue to all levels in the organisation both in business and IT.
You are driven by the architecture discipline itself, understanding how principles, governance, collaboration, and long-term thinking create business value with a focus on translating this into actionable actions.
You enjoy challenging assumptions, facilitating discussions, and influencing decisions that shape the foundation of JYSK's future growth and transformation.
