Job summary

Kamstrup offers a Product Management Intern position to shape our smart metering portfolio, including meters, software, data analytics and services. You will work with Product Managers, R&D, Sales and customers across multiple countries to gain practical experience in both strategic and operational product management.

You will join the two Product Management teams in the Water department, totaling 16 colleagues.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Innovation, IT or related field.
• Interest in technology, products and customer‑centric innovation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.

Here is what your role entails
As a Product Management Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience shaping our diverse product portfolio within smart metering, which includes intelligent meters, advanced software solutions, data analytics, and services. Moreover, you will gain practical experience across both strategic and operational product management, working closely with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, Research & Development, Sales, and customers.

More specifically, you will be:

• Gathering and analyzing customer, market, and competitor insights
• Supporting product roadmaps, business cases, project plans, and documentation
• Helping define requirements for new meters, software solutions, and services
• Contributing to innovation and early‑stage development projects
• Tracking progress across product initiatives and communicating key updates

In this role, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of product management processes covering areas like hardware software, data and services. Furthermore, you will contribute to projects with real business impact while working closely with stakeholders across both functions and countries. As this is an internship position, you will also have the opportunity to explore your own ideas and interests within the scope of your responsibilities.

You will become part of our two Product Management teams in the Water department, consisting of 16 dedicated colleagues in total. Together, we work with solutions that combine intelligent meters, digital platforms, software, and services.
