Job summary

Kamstrup, based near Aarhus in Denmark, invites a motivated student to join the Product Management team as an intern in the Heat/Cooling division, focusing on smart metering products, software solutions, data analytics and services.

You will gain hands-on experience across both strategic and operational product management tasks, shaping ideas with international colleagues and stakeholders, and contributing to innovative solutions in the smart metering industry.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Global Business Engineering, IT-technology, International Business, Business Administration or related field with focus on innovation, agile work methods, and concrete customer involvement as well as needs assessment.
  • Possess strong communication skills and can effectively translate technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eager to challenge the status quo, bring fresh ideas, and contribute to developing business opportunities.
  • Thrive in an outgoing and collaborative role, interacting with colleagues, customers, and partners across the organization.

Here Is What Your Role Entails

As a Product Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience shaping our diverse product portfolio within smart metering, which includes intelligent meters, advanced software solutions, data analytics, and services. You will be part of a dynamic and international team, contributing to both day-to-day product management tasks and strategic initiatives.

More specifically you will be:

  • Supporting the creation of project plans, timelines, and documentation
  • Gathering and analyze customer requirements to align solutions with market needs
  • Conducting market analysis and evaluate new opportunities in the innovation pipeline
  • Collaborating across departments to develop and advance new products and concepts
  • Driving and tracking progress on early-stage projects and initiatives

In this role, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of product management processes and gain hands‑on experience with both strategic and operational tasks. The internship offers the freedom to explore your own ideas, take ownership of projects, and work closely with international colleagues and stakeholders. Your contributions will directly impact shaping innovative solutions in the smart metering industry.

In this role, you will join our Product Management team in our Heat/Cooling division. Together, the team works on product strategy, innovation, and bringing new ideas to life across our smart metering portfolio. You will work closely with colleagues across functions and countries, gaining first‑hand experience with diverse perspectives that make our projects stronger and more exciting.

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English. Knowledge of Danish or other languages will be considered an advantage.
