Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S is seeking a Contract Manager to join the Danish Legal & Contracts team. You will coordinate with internal departments and manage contractual risk across international projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong negotiating skills, fluent Danish and English, and a proactive, cross-functional approach in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• LL.M. or MSc in business, law or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of complex contract management experience in infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to interpret and negotiate complex contracts with a risk-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage contracts with customers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate inputs from project stakeholders to advance delivery and mitigate risks.
• Maintain contract records and key correspondence.
• Draft formal project communications.
• Provide contract guidance and interpretation to project teams.
