Job summary
GEA Group in Søborg, Denmark, seeks a Product Cybersecurity Specialist to translate EU CRA and IEC 62443 into actionable engineering decisions for automation products. You will be the cybersecurity focal point, shaping secure solutions for processing plants worldwide.
You will embed Secure by Design, conduct threat modelling and risk assessments, review PLC/SCADA architectures, and coordinate security testing and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of Industrial Automation Engineering experience
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, industrial networks, instrumentation and communication protocols
- Experience with secure system design, network segmentation, risk assessments and architecture reviews
- Understanding digital products, software-based automation and system integration
- Ideally knowledge of IEC 62443, CRA, NIS2 or ISO/IEC 27001 (advantage)
Responsibilities
- Assess CRA applicability and cybersecurity classification for hardware, software and digital components
- Define traceable security requirements and conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and impact analyses
- Review automation and network architectures and advise on secure PLC, SCADA and software development
- Coordinate design reviews, validation, security testing, and support penetration testing and compliance assessments
- Prepare and maintain CRA and CE documentation and support SBOM, supplier assessments, vulnerability management, disclosure processes and internal training
